The principals at Higgins Lake Landscaping are versatile and resourceful.  No project is too complicated to tackle.  We are willing and even eager to  invest in new equipment in order to make our jobs easier or more productive.  Jim has a background in design and engineering practices as well as years of Project Management with a previous employer.  Building and repairing equipment comes second nature and is extremely valuable in a business such as this.  Blakes background in the landscape field as well as work for a municipal employer qualifies him for all aspects of the daily operation.  Both are very computer literate and industry leading design software is a daily staple for both. 

 

We are certified by the NCMA National Concrete Manufacturers Association to install segmental retainer walls.  Blake has completed his training and is certified by the ICIP for the installation of brick pavers.  These certifications assure our customers that we have been trained in the installation of material that we use on their projects.  Jim is a licensed builder in the State of Michigan qualifying the company to bid on construction projects in the area.  We are active members of the Tri-Lakes builders Association in our community
